Glebe Market | Sydney

Wednesday, March 28, 2012

Sydney has several markets on the weekends so we had to choose wisely. We decided to head to Glebe Market on Saturday in search of vintage and handmade. It certainly didn't disappoint. In addition to all the beautiful stuff for sale, we had some killer burritos and listened to some live music.

I also took photos of some gals with serious style at the market, but we're saving those for an Australian fashion post!

Now you know what I mean when I say Australia is super hip.

    1. Sandra - Staying with people usually means you're doing what they're doing. So it depends how adventurous/in-the-know your family is. :) At least you have someone to visit there!

  12. Funny the world is a big place but somethings look just the same anywhere. I've seen art shows/craft shows/street fairs/ etc in many different cities here in the States and they all look the same as your photo's from Australia. Proving people are people and aren't all that different. Sounds like you and hubby are enjoying your gypsie life.

    1. Sandy - Australia had a lot of similarities with the States. It felt like home away from home. Crazy that they are so far apart on the globe. Sometimes two countries right next to each other are so strikingly different...
